The new roads and infrastructure support military housing and related public and private amenities, including retail, education, health, recreation, and religious facilities. Saudi Aramco aimed to accommodate 500 officers and soldiers with all necessary daily services and utilities, while ensuring the project area is fully serviced with roads, residential and support buildings, and essential infrastructure connections for seamless operation and quality of life.

Laceco responded to the above objectives by:
Designing a consistent urban framework that nevertheless provided a diversity in the individual architectural character of buildings.
Curating a seamless pedestrian experience in a site that had a challenging topography and was exposed to dominant winds.
Anchoring the site along three platforms linked to each other by a continuous game of terraces, stairs, suspended bridges and esplanades that gently slope down the length of the development.
Conducting value engineering and cost optimization studies to preserve economic viability of the development.
Laceco responded to the above needs by:
Proposing 20km roads networks that balance between capacity, accessibility and privacy, tying with the existing surrounding roads by three gates, and incorporating collector/secondary/tertiary roads, and spine roads, Designing 18 km of storm and sewer networks including evaporation, detention ponds and lift stations, Designing of 18 km water supply networks including irrigation and combined domestic and fire-fighting system networks with a 5,000m³ central reservoir and related pumping station, Designing of medium/low voltage distribution networks, including the related MV/LV package substations, Designing a LED street, external and landscape lighting network, Designing of security/telecom/ fire distribution networks including inspection hand- holes and duct-banks, Designing a 5,000 m³/day STP including the design of all support buildings, laboratories and administrative buildings (process design has been subcontracted to a specialist).
