Project description
Thuwal is a gated community that aims to accommodate the families of 448 soldiers and 52 officers of the Saudi National Guard. It includes religious, civic, educational, recreational, retail and healthcare uses
The brief
Saudi Aramco aimed to achieve two objectives:
- Developing a community where the all the needs of Saudi National Guard residents are met
- Designing a project that is cost efficient and provides for economies of scale
Our response
- Developing a masterplan that is fully equipped with physical, social, cultural and religious infrastructure and can accommodate tens of thousands of residents
- Providing advisory services to the client during the masterplanning / development strategy phases
- Providing value engineering services throughout design stages to optimize construction cost
